Attack on Irish Nurse

The Irish Nurses Organisation has accused St Vincent's Hospital in Dublin of failing to take adequate measures to protect its staff.

The accusation follows an serious assault on a nurse by a patient in the hospital's accident and emergency unit this week...

I work in an ER as ancillary staff and the hospital just stationed security guards in the ER permenately. In times when we call, the arrive with a full complement of guards. What a shame!

I am shock to read that news. I am a nursing student and never thought that could happen to a nurse. BTW the link is wrong, I have to google it to find it.
