Research Assignment

Hi,
I am a 3rd year nursing student in Australia. I am doing a research assignment about the interaction between nursing and other medical staff in the nurse station, the staff room, and anywhere where nurses go to debrief, relax, chat with eachother, joke etc. This is for one of my final subjects before I graduate and register. I have been interested in my clinical placements when watching nurses interact, what they say to each other, how they diffuse stressful situations with humour or gossip or comments, and I want to write a paper based on my findings. Can you suggest any good sources, either online or in books or journals that might be helpful. I can see that this research may be difficult due to limited literature, or I may not know exactly which area to search in.

I would appreciate any assistance you could give me.
